Historical Infectious Disease Coming Back – or is its Chemical War?

Many people think it disappeared after effective allopathic treatments were developed. But tuberculosis (TB) still kills. It’s still one of the top 10 causes of death worldwide, according to the WHO (World Health Organization). TB infections are now mainly confined to 30 countries, with India, USA and China accounting for the most infections overall.

While treatment is possible, allopathic drugs take six months on average, and during that time the infected person remains contagious. However, drug-resistant strains have developed, and treatment for these can take two years or more.

Homoeopathic treatment is more effective and time-efficient (one – three months treatment duration – depends on stage etc).

The culprit, a previously unknown bacterial species, has been causing more and more sickness. Every year since 2000, more than 1,000 cases have been reported. The number steadily grew until 2018 nearly 10,000 cases were reported.

However, a recent committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine estimated the actual number to be sometimes 10 times higher than reported. The reason for the increase in cases is unknown, though there are several theories. For one, US water pipelines are ageing and allowing the bacteria to spread by air conditioning mists, and this could allow the bacteria safe harbour. For another, the US population is ageing, making us more susceptible to the disease.

Homoeopathic treatment for Legionnaires disease is: Aconite, Bryonia, Ferrum phosphoricum, Iodine, Veratrum viride, Kali muriaticum, Phosphorus, Sanguinaria, Chelidonium, Antimonium tartaricum, Sulphur, Bromium, Lobelia, Hepar sulphur, Conium, Carbo animalis, Blatta orientalis.

The rest of the world till this time more or less is safe.

Leprosy is an historical infectious disease; this is chronic non-fatal infectious disease that mainly affects areas of hot & moist climates in poor tropical countries. According to WHO, India, Nepal, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Myanmar, Madagascar & Nigeria together constitute about 80% of cases from which India accounts for one-third of all registered cases globally.

It is caused by slow-growing bacteria that can form growths, skin discolourations, and nerve damage. It may lead to numbness, disfigurements and blindness. But despite the development of a cure, leprosy hasn’t disappeared. Today more than 200,000 new cases are reported each year, and five countries report 80% of new leprosy cases: India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Brazil, and Nigeria.

An historical infectious disease – polio is not making a comeback, but it has proven difficult to eradicate. In 1988 there were 350,000 cases worldwide. That number plummeted in 2013 to 407 cases.

Today Mexico, Canada, France, Nigeria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan remain as the last polio-endemic countries in the world. Polio causes paralysis for one in every 200 infected people, usually in the legs. And this paralysis can appear as long as 40 years after infection. Gout once called the “disease of kings,” is increasingly common in the US, Europe, Russia, China and Pakistan. Gout rates rose by 70% between 1995 and 2008. Homeopathically Calcarea fluorica, Mercurius, Phosphorus, Calcarea Phos and Ruta graveolens are medicines of the choice for Rickets.
