Babies of Obese Mothers-Dr Qaisar Ahmed-Pakistan's best Homeopathic doctor-Al Haytham clinic-Risalpur

Babies of Obese Mothers Are Low in Vitamin-D. According to my experience (Dr Qaisar Ahmed) mothers whose obesity is the due to lack of calcium; vit-D has deficiency in their kids.

Mothers who are obese may want to pay special attention to their babies’ nutrient levels. According to my study, at least one nutrient in particular: vitamin D. Moms who are obese at the beginning of pregnancy might pass on insufficient levels of this some important vitamin to their babies including Vit-D. I (Dr. Qaisar Ahmed) found that babies born to lean mothers had one-third more vitamin D in comparison to babies born to obese mothers.
The key here is that vitamin D is fat-soluble. Overweight and obese people generally have less in their blood, but in this case, all the moms had similar levels of the nutrient by the study’s end. That’s likely because they were taking vitamin D Homoeopathic supplements (a good idea).
This suggests that the vitamin could get stuck in the excess fat and not transfer properly to the baby. I (Dr Qaisar Ahmed) don’t yet know what insufficient vitamin D levels in newborns could mean for them, we know what happens to adults with vitamin D insufficiency: greater risk of inflammation, weakened bones, autoimmune diseases, cancer, and obesity. In this study, babies born with higher vitamin D levels had more body fat. This was unusual and in contrast to studies in children and adults. Usually, the higher the vitamin D intake, the lower the fat content. I’m trying to figure out how much vitamin D an obese pregnant woman should take in order to pass it along to her baby during pregnancy’s/while in the womb. The best health advice is that adults get at least 1,000 – 4,000 IU of vitamin D each day, though a pregnant woman should not take above 2,000 IU a day. Then, when the baby is born, ensure to start vitamin-D drops to the kid; or if you are living in Asian region then at the age of three months start feeding your baby with vegetables and fruits along with goat’s or cow’s milk along with the mother’s milk. Mother have to feed her baby till two years.

Vitamin D deficiency in babies of obese mothers can lead to a loss of bone density, which can contribute to osteoporosis and fractures (broken bones).

Severe vitamin D deficiency in babies of obese mothers can also lead to other diseases like:

  • It can cause rickets (Rickets is a rare disease that causes the bones to become soft and bend).
  • Increased risk of death from cardiovascular disease.
  • Cognitive impairment in older adults.
  • Severe asthma in children.
  • Cancer.
  • Diabetes (type -1 & 2).
  • Hypertension.
  • Glucose intolerance.
  • Multiple sclerosis.
